Sociedade Gestora dos Fundos de Pensões do Banco de Portugal, S.A. is Banco de Portugal’s pension funds management company.

It is responsible for the financial, technical, actuarial and administrative management of Banco de Portugal’s Pension Fund – Defined-benefit plan, and of Banco de Portugal’s Pension Fund – Defined-contribution plan. 

It also prepares the actuarial assessments on the calculation of liabilities inherent in benefit plans and charges financed by Banco de Portugal’s Pension Fund – Defined-benefit plan.

Sociedade Gestora was set up on 3 June 1988.
