The general government debt reflects the level of indebtedness of the general government, comprising its responsibilities vis-à-vis the other resident sectors of the economy and the rest of the world. The general government financing reflects liabilities in securities and loans deducted from the variation of deposits and securities applications, excluding transactions in shares issued by residents other than banks, and trade credits granted by residents.
