The Library’s collection contains some 65,000 monographs and 2,000 titles of current periodicals, specialising in Portuguese economy, international economy, mathematics and statistics, economic history, monetary policy, and economic and financial law, including:

  • Publications by international organisations such as the European Central Bank, International Monetary Fund and OECD
  • An Antique Book Collection, printed in Portugal and abroad from the 15th to 18th centuries, on law and banking, and of outstanding historical value
  • The reports and accounts of Portuguese and foreign companies from the 19th century to the present day, which provide an invaluable source to research the economic history of Portugal.
