The LEI (Legal Entity Identifier) is an internationally-accepted unique identifier for companies and other organisations, which allows entities to be identified unambiguously. This identifier was created in response to a regulatory requirement for participants in financial transactions to be identified, and has broadened its range of uses. Its use is envisaged to become a good practice for entities engaged in international transactions. Currently over 400,000 entities around the world have a LEI attributed, including 1,700 in Portugal.

Come and discover the advantages of requesting a LEI for your entity and how to do it.
