Today, Banco de Portugal publishes statistics, in Table A.25 of the Statistical Bulletin and in BPstat, on issues of debt securities and shares for July 2020.
In July 2020 net issues (gross issues minus redemptions) of securities by residents totalled about €5.8 billion. This figure results mainly from positive net issues of general government debt securities, in €4.7 billion, and financial corporations, in €1.2 billion (Charts 1 and 2).
