Today, Banco de Portugal publishes statistics, in Table A.15 of the Statistical Bulletin and in BPstat, on public debt for November of 2018.
In November 2018, public debt stood at €251.5 billion (Chart 1), a €0.4 billion increase from the end of October mainly driven by loans and debt securities issued (Chart 2).
General government deposits fell by €0.2 billion, with public debt net of deposits increasing by €0.6 billion from the previous month, to a total of €225.0 billion.
