Professor Jacinto Nunes Prize 2017

Today, Banco de Portugal presented the Professor Jacinto Nunes Prize to the best undergraduate students in Economics for the academic year 2016/2017.

The prize-winners were honoured today in a formal session at Banco de Portugal's Head Office in Lisbon, at which the Governor, Carlos da Silva Costa, was present.

Each year, the Professor Jacinto Nunes Prize recognises the student with the best final average in Economics in the preceding year, for each of the educational establishments selected.

With this prize, Banco de Portugal aims to contribute to the recognition of merit in an area of study that is fundamental to its mission.
