1. Banco de Portugal warns that the alleged entity that has been operating through the websites  https://meueuro.com and https:// Bluorbankas.com and attempts to promote the publicity of its alleged activity in the media , is not at this date, nor has it ever been, authorised to carry out, in Portugal, any financial activities reserved for institutions subject to the supervision of Banco de Portugal, namely, lending, intermediation and credit consultancy, drawing attention to the fact that these entities should not be confused with any others with a similar name.

2. Lending, as set forth for in Article 4(1)(b) of the Legal Framework of Credit Institutions and Financial Companies (RGICSF, approved by Decree-Law No. 298/92, of 31 December), credit intermediation activities and the provision of  advisory services for credit agreements, as set forth in article 4 of the legal framework of credit intermediaries approved by Decree-Law No. 81-C/2017 of 7 July 2017, may only be performed by authorised undertakings, as laid down in article 10 of the RGICSF and in articles 5 and 7 of the framework applicable to credit intermediaries.

3. Although the lists of undertakings authorized to carry out lending activities, act as credit intermediaries and provide advisory services related with credit agreements are available on Banco de Portugal’s website, it has come to Banco de Portugal knowledge several situations in which the name of such authorized entities is misused by third parties in fraudulent schemes,  therefore if you have any doubts, you should contact Banco de Portugal through the available form on its website or by sending an email to info@bportugal.pt.
