1. Banco de Portugal warns that the entities responsible for the profiles of Facebook social network accessible at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100070707615670 and https://www.facebook.com/people/Empr%C3%A9stimo-online/100054348486539/ are not, on the present date, and haven´t ever been, authorised to carry out, in Portugal, any financial activity reserved for institutions subject to the supervision of the Banco de Portugal, namely, the granting, intermediation and advisory services for credit agreements.

2. The activity of lending, as set forth in Article 4 (1) (b) of the Legal Framework of Credit Institutions and Financial Companies (RGICSF, approved by Decree-Law No 298/92 of 31 December 1992), may only be performed by authorised undertakings, as laid down in Article 10 of the said Legal Framework.
