Decisions of Banco de Portugal are published within 8 days of dispatch of the communication/notification to the interested/applicant parties, from the 1st working day after dispatch or receipt mail.

As this section of the website is not entirely available in English, decisions of Banco de Portugal may only be consulted in Portuguese.Note: credit institutions, financial companies, including branches of credit institutions authorised in a foreign country, and payment institutions shall not commence their activity without being subject to a special registration with Banco de Portugal.
