Information provided

Banco de Portugal provides to participating entities aggregate information on the credit liabilities of their clients. It also provides information on aggregate credit liabilities of other individuals and organisations as long as they are engaged in new loan contracts.

Any person has the right to be informed on the registers in his/her name with the Central Credit Register, in compliance with the legal and constitutional provisions protecting the citizens.
Information on the list of credit liabilities is provided to the interested person or anyone on his/her behalf, taking into account the bank secrecy rules in force in Portugal.
