Reading room
The Reading Room of the Library, which may also be used by external readers, has Internet access points as well as newspapers and journals for consultation. Readers are also offered the opportunity to consult existing works and use the following databases:
• EconLit (full text) – Reference database in the economic area covering articles, work documents and dissertations;
• Business Source Corporate – Mainly geared towards the area of management and containing full articles from more than 3,000 journals and periodicals;
• JSTOR (Access to the subjects of “Economics”, “Business”, “Mathematics” and “Statistics”) – Scientific Periodical Archive of interest to the academic community;
• SourceOECD – OECD on-line Library covering an extensive and full range of monographs, periodicals, work documents and statistics;
• Science Direct – On-line access to periodicals published by Elsevier;
• A number of important periodicals from other editors, such as WileyInterscience, Springer, American Economic Association, Oxford University Press, among others.
The Reading Room receives support from the Documentation Service specialised in Economics and Law. Its team is available for personal customer assistance.
