EONIA rate
EONIA rate is the reference interest rate for the overnight tenor in the euro money market. EONIA is computed as a weighted average of overnight unsecured lending transactions in the interbank market, initiated within the euro area by the contributing panel of banks.
Daily quotes are provided by the same panel of most active banks in the euro money market that quote for EURIBOR. It is computed with the help of the European Central Bank.
REUTERS publishes the EONIA rate in percentage to three decimals, as well as the volume of transactions taken into account in the EONIA computation.
