Bruno Albuquerque is currently an economist at the Economic Research Department of the Banco de Portugal since 2009. He works in the Monetary Policy Division, focusing on issues related to the external environment of the euro area. From 2007 to 2009, he worked in the Statistics Department.  Bruno holds a Licenciatura in Economics and a M.Sc. in Monetary and Financial Economics from ISEG-UTL Technical University of Lisbon. His research interests span topics such as macroeconomics, monetary policy, fiscal policy and political economy.
