Grants for visiting researchers

Banco de Portugal offers cash grants to support research projects in the field of Economics, with a view to promoting interchange between the scientific and academic communities and the Bank, and to contributing towards the improvement of theoretical and applied research in Portugal.

Applicants wishing to developed research projects in the Economic Research Department must hold a Doctorate degree or be finalising their Doctorate degree. Favoured areas include monetary and labour economics, finance, banking, or studies on the Portuguese economy.

Applications are invited from all interested parties.
