The lists of institutions for statistical purposes provide a tool for supporting the correct classification, by institutional sector, of counterparties reporting to Banco de Portugal for statistical purposes, namely regarding monetary and financial statistics, balance of payments statistics and the Securities Statistics Integrated System.
