Methodologies
The Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS) provides standardised descriptions of the methodologies used for the compilation of statistics in the countries that subscribed to this quality standard developed by the International Monetary Fund. The IFM’s website provides access to the websites of the participating countries and a description of the mentioned practices.
Data Quality Assessment Framework – DQAF
The Data Quality Assessment Framework (DQAF) is a structure created by the International Monetary Fund, which provides a methodology for the evaluation of quality for statistical data.
The DQAF covers different aspects related to the collection, processing and dissemination of data, assessing existing practices against best practices, including internationally accepted concepts, definitions and methodologies.
The DQAF is organized around a set of prerequisites and five dimensions of data quality – integrity, methodological soundness, accuracy and reliability, serviceability, and accessibility.
